Have you ever seen beautifully decorated cookies or baked goods in a movie and wondered who made them? Well, there’s a chance that they may have been made by the talented Ivana Smulikova of Ivana Teahouse. Before closing its doors to the public, Ivana Teahouse was a popular tearoom that served her delicious honey cookies and was even a popular filming location for many movies.

Although the teahouse is now closed, Ivana is still hard at work in the kitchen preparing her beloved honey cookies, which are similar to gingerbread but use honey as a sweetener. Her most popular offerings by far are her intricately designed Christmas-themed cookies, which are available year-round on her website and range from single cookies to themed packages and even large, 3D cookie cottages.

Her designs range from her popular, complex needlework- inspired designs and cookie cottages to custom- ordered cookies for events like bridal showers. Photograph courtesy of Ivana Teahouse.

Ivana also creates stunning treats to order, which are perfect for weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthdays, or special holidays. Each cookie is made and meticulously decorated by hand so that you receive a uniquely lovely goodie every time. Ivana explains, “Every line, dot, little flower I make, they need time and patience . . . and love. With every touch, I am thinking about somebody who will get the cookies, and I wish it brings him/her a joy, pleasure, and happiness for maybe just a short little moment in their life.”
