Exquisite Floral by Nazia

Nazia Rahman, owner of Exquisite Floral by Nazia, was taught from a young age the importance of presentation. From learning the proper way for pouring tea to peeling mangos in one piece, it is no surprise that Nazia carried the belief that “we eat first with our eyes” with her when creating a business.

After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, Nazia began baking and perfecting her skills at creating stunning cupcakes that looked like bouquets of flowers. She was known among friends for her eye- catching treats but wanted to see if she could turn her hobby into a business. She began by advertising her creations to a local Facebook group and quickly went viral, until she was known locally as “the cupcake lady.”

Although her bouquets feature a variety of flower types, including tulips, roses, peonies, and hydrangeas, to name a few, she prefers to keep her cupcake base simple. She explains her preference for a classic vanilla cupcake and slightly sweet buttercream by stating
