Stella Carter of Teatime Organic credits her journey in creating and selling decorative sugar cubes to the birth of her second child. After realizing how many additives were in many of the food items she had previously purchased, she decided to make her own baby food and snacks. A few years later, Stella made a shift in her career from working a full-time job to creating tasty treats to sell. She began by making seasonal jams and cookies for local New York fairs and markets but was truly inspired when a patron asked if they could buy the sugar cubes that Stella was using in her cup of tea.

In 2020, Stella officially opened Teatime Organic and began selling her beautiful little sugar cubes. With more than a dozen flavors from which to choose, including the popular cranberry and lemon, along with multiple shapes, Stella’s sugar cubes make a beautiful addition to any cup of tea. “I very firmly believe that the details matter. When you set a table, the small details become part of the memories. And I love the idea of making beautiful memories every day. Whether it’s an event for 40 people or a [single] cup of tea, the beautiful moments are what days are made for,” she says.
