Steeping Cup
In the times of Jane Austen, leaves were placed in a teapot, hot water was poured over, and the resulting infusion was strained into a teacup. But, any liquid remaining in the pot often became oversteeped. A large ceramic mug with a metal infuser basket and lid, such as this steeping cup from Tea Forté, is a convenient, modern brewing option that allows for easy and proper brewing of loose-leaf teas and makes cleanup quite simple.
