Silver Teapot
A few decades after the arrival of porcelain teapots in Europe, silversmiths throughout the continent began crafting small and elaborate ones from the precious metal. A sterling silver or silver plate teapot is an elegant touch to a tea table or sideboard. The metallic nature of these vessels makes them excellent choices for heat retention, so styles such as Reed & Barton’s Burgundy, which have spacers to keep the handle from becoming hot, are a must.
