I introduced them to my teachers and colleagues, and they left convinced a tea culture could be planted and cultivated where none had existed before. Jing Tea was born soon after. A purist, Edward intended Jing to be available to anyone who truly wants to drink the best teas Asia has to offer. He says, “Jing does not compromise on cost or convenience. We are willing to travel to the hardest-to-reach corners of China or mountains of Taiwan to find the best conditions and artistry. We work exclusively with highly skilled local families in each chosen region—true artisans who are willing to sell their produce only to those they feel will best represent their teas. Their patience and high standards, combined with our desire to educate the West on Asia’s tea culture, allow us to offer more than just great tea. We also seek to inspire our customers to cultivate the very essence of tea—that moment of relaxed focus which allows us to reengage with the world around us at our best.”
