  1. Please stop setting your tables with napkins placed underneath a plate. It’s wrong- regardless of how many times it’s shown by your publication or others. There is a reason a napkin is not set underneath a plate- it’s unhygienic and can cause the setting to be damaged when the plate is lifted to retrieve the napkin. Please stop !

    • Ellen Easton,
Why do you think it is yours to critique publicly and to be so hard & harsh and rude? How about a softer, kinder, more polite approach? This is nit-picking & too much over-the-top. Clean plate + clean napkin ≠ unhygienic. (To use your phrase: Please Stop!) They do a great job here!

  2. Wow, this is such a brilliant pairing idea! The combination of scrumptious apple-laden dishes with warming Simpson & Vail blends sounds like pure cozy perfection! I love how you suggest either mimicking or contrasting the flavors, making each sip and bite an intentional, flavor-packed experience. This is the kind of thoughtful, next-level touch that transforms a great meal into an unforgettable one. Can’t wait to try this pairing—it’s giving total fall vibes and ultimate comfort!

  3. wow, absolutely delightful—there’s something so comforting and elegant about an apple-themed afternoon tea, especially with such beautifully styled photography and recipes. It’s that same cozy satisfaction I get when visiting Zaxby’s during the fall—whether it’s a warm meal after a crisp autumn walk or just indulging in something seasonal and comforting. Both bring that perfect blend of flavor and feeling to the table!
