“The hardware that I pair with the stands, for example, can dramatically change the overall look of the piece,” she notes. “I enjoy balancing some of the over-the-top floral and feminine pieces with modern, sleek hardware that makes dated heirlooms feel relevant and appropriate.” Ariel explains the practicality and versatility of her wares for entertaining groups of different sizes or according to the items to be served: “The three-tier with teacup . . . can easily become a standard three-tier [by removing the cup], a two-tier, a teacup-and-saucer stand, or even a candy dish with just a few twists of the wrist.”
