
Cut in flower shapes, these White Pimento Cheese Tea Sandwiches are a pretty addition to your tea table.
White Pimento Cheese Tea Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 16 slices whole-wheat bread*
- 1 cup White Pimento Cheese (recipe follows)
Instructions
- Using a 2½-inch flower cutter, cut 16 flower shapes from bread. Spread 1 tablespoon cheese mixture each on 8 bread flowers.
- Using a 1-inch round cutter, cut out centers from remaining 8 bread flowers, discarding centers. Place each atop a cheese-covered flower, aligning edges.
- Cover with damp paper towels, and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate until ready to serve. (May be made early in the day.)

- *We used Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse 100% Whole Wheat bread.

Yield: 1⅓ cups • Preparation: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) block extra-sharp white
- Cheddar cheese, coarsley shredded
- ¼ cup diced pimientos
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine cheese and pimientos, stirring well. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and pepper, whisking well. Add to cheese mixture, stirring to incorporate. Set aside.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
