Treasured Teapot: Verdant Whimsy

The gorgeous green illustrations adorning Coalport Cathay draw one’s eyes to the fanciful accoutrement, the star of spring teatimes.

Playful birds, butterflies, and dragonflies exploring the wonder of nature abloom bedeck this exquisite, English-made Coalport Cathay teapot that encompasses the magnificence of springtime in one stately piece. The verdant and somewhat whimsical pattern was in production from 1978 to 1981.
