Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 1⁄2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter with a mixer at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Beat in vanilla extract. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, beating until fluffy, 4 to 5 minutes.
