In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Beat in white chocolate. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar and salt until combined. Beat in cream, ginger, and extracts until buttercream is light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Use immediately.
