Ginger–White Chocolate Buttercream
Serves: 2½ cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1⁄4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Beat in white chocolate. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar and salt until combined. Beat in cream, ginger, and extracts until buttercream is light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Use immediately.
