Basting Sauce
 
Makes approximately ½ cup
Ingredients
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, stir together vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, butter, onion flakes, dry mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely before using.
