Royal Icing
- 2 1⁄2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 4 teaspoons water
- 1 large egg white
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a medium bowl, whisk together confectioners’ sugar, 4 teaspoons water, egg white, and vanilla extract until combined. (Use whisk sparingly, as it causes bubbles in the icing. Switch to a spoon, if necessary.) Use immediately.
