Hidden Hearts Cherry-Almond Cupcakes
Serves: approximately 1 1⁄3 cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure cherry concentrate*
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • Food coloring*, optional
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and salt, beating until fluffy. Beat in almond extract, cherry concentrate, milk, and food coloring, if desired. Use immediately.
