Hidden Hearts Cherry-Almond Cupcakes
Serves: approximately 1 1⁄3 cups
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon pure cherry concentrate*
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- Food coloring*, optional
- In a medium bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and salt, beating until fluffy. Beat in almond extract, cherry concentrate, milk, and food coloring, if desired. Use immediately.
