Cinnamon–Cream Cheese Frosting
Serves: approximately 2 2⁄3 cups
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Beat in vanilla extract. Reduce mixer speed to low; gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar and cinnamon. Increase mixer speed to high, and beat until fluffy. Use immediately.
